ABOUT DYNAMIC ONE
AKA Robin One Half of The Dynamic Duo Straight Outta Boston

Robin was born and raised in the metropolitan Boston area and attended grade school in Cambridge and graduated high school from the Cambridge School of Weston in Weston. She attended to two years of photography school in Boston and then moved to NYC to earn an Associates Degree in Photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

Robin and her best friend Lisa B took a trip to Jamaica and ended up linking with the great cultural producer/promoter Jack Ruby in Ocho Rios in the parish of St. Ann. Jack Ruby took the Duo under his wing and showed the girls where reggae music came from. They experienced everything from live sound system shows with Jack Ruby Hi Power and artists like: Slim Brown aka President Brown, Sanchez, General Trees, Tinga Stewart, Color Chin, Nigga Mikey, King Yellowman, Ken Booth, Duce Rankin, Professor Frisky, Selectors Fat Jah & Thinna One and so many more.
They expanded their musical travels and spent time at studios in Kingston like Jack Scorpio's, King Jammy's, Penthouse, Music Works, Shocking Vibes, and Bobby Digital. They were blessed to see big artists lick tunes for the biggest producers in Reggae music. They soon realized that they had to share with others what they were so privileged to be a part of. They ended up on the radio in Boston.

At first Lisa B would do guest spots with Jennifer Spangler on Harvard University's radio station WHRB. Then Jennifer Spangler moved her show to Emerson College where Lisa continued with guest spots. Soon the duo was invited down to Boston College's radio station WZBC. Michael L had a weekly radio show on Saturdays and had invited the girls to come and help him out with the show. Michael L was the man who showed Robin and Lisa the ropes in Reggae radio. He dubbed them the Dynamic Duo and passed his show on to the Duo to continue vibe.

The Duo did the Reggae radio show "Raggamuffin International" together for 13 years. Lisa B moved to South Florida and now has her own radio show on WSRF Mystic 1580 http://www.wsrf.com/ in Fort Lauderdale. Lisa B can also be heard on The International Link Up http://linkupmedia.com/ a radio show broadcasted simultaneously in South Florida, New York City, London England and Jamaica. Robin aka the Dynamic One has continued Raggamuffin International on Saturdays on WZBC http://www.wzbc.org/ and is coming up on a 16th year anniversary with the station.

As they say everything happens for a reason and it's obvious that jah had carved a path of Reggae Music for the Dynamic Duo. For almost two decades Robin & Lisa B are still broadcasting and are well known for there deep knowledge and experience in Reggae music. They have literally had the privilege of watching artists grow in the business and achieve Grammy's and have been a part of bringing Reggae music to the great heights that it has achieved.
